The Committee of Kansala Trust, which organised the Futampaf Festival, on Tuesday, 17th February, 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the management of the  Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture and the National Centre for Arts and Culture to update them on preparations for the 4th edition, slated for March 27 to 29 in Bwiam.

The committee has also presented the 2025 Festival Report to the Ministry and NCAC. The Kansala International Cultural Festival is organised annually in Bwiam, Foni Kansala District, by the Kansala Trust.

It brings together participants from within The Gambia and Senegal and is attended by high dignitaries, including government officials.
