Gambia-Nigeria Economic, Trade And Tourism Forum Held In Lagos

Honorable Abdoulie Jobe, Minister of Tourism and Culture has said that The Gambia is ready to welcome Nigerian tourists in their large numbers to the Smiling Coast of West Coast.

Minister Jobe made these remarks recently during a business investment forum called Gambia-Nigeria Economic, Trade and Tourism Forum held on Victoria Island, Lagos-Nigeria.

“The Gambia is ready to welcome you Nigerian tourists to the land of the Smiling Coast of Africa. We have all it takes to visit The Gambia. The sea, sand, and clean beaches are all over in abundance and the friendly people of The Gambia,” he said parked full hall with Nigerian investors in travel and tours, aviation, tourism, and other related tourism businesses.

He urged them to come and visit The Gambia as tourists and that they will forever live with the good memories of The Gambia and assured them of their safety throughout their stay in the country.

Meanwhile, a presentation session was held and satellite institutions under the Ministry of Tourism and Culture presented their products to Nigerians who were happy to learn that The Gambia has such beautiful places to offer them as Nigerian tourists.

The Gambian delegation which was led by  Minister Jobe and his team, was geared towards promoting and marketing Destination Gambia to one of the biggest countries in Africa, Nigeria.
