The Team Gambia Tourism Stakeholders’ Outreach Mission to Dakar concluded over the weekend with a stopover at RIU Baobab Hotel, where the delegation undertook an educational inspection of the establishment.
The visit was designed to provide members with firsthand insight into the resort’s operations, helping them better understand its management model, service delivery standards, and guest experience.
Accompanied by the hotel’s management team, the delegation toured the resort’s facilities, gaining valuable insights into its accommodations, amenities, recreational offerings, and operational practices.
The inspection served as an important learning experience, equipping stakeholders with practical insights and best practices to support the continued development and competitiveness of The Gambia’s tourism industry.
The visit marked a fitting conclusion to a successful outreach mission, reinforcing Team Gambia’s commitment to learning from regional best practices and strengthening the destination’s tourism sector.
