The Banjul New Year Cultural Festival was recently opened by the country’s Vice President, Mohammed B.S Jallow, at the Never Again Arch in Banjul.
The Honorable Abdoulie Jobe, Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture, was also in attendance, together with senior government officials and other relevant stakeholders in the Gambia’s tourism sector.
The cultural performances will continue till January 1st, 2026.
