We write to formally inform you that Mrs. Ida Jeng Njie, former Regional Tourism Director for the West Coast Region, has been promoted and appointed on promotion as the new Director General of The Gambia Tourism Board, effective 2nd January, 2026.
On this occasion, we warmly welcome Mrs. Njie and extend our best wishes to her for a successful and impactful tenure in office.
We also take this opportunity to congratulate Mr. Abubacarr S. Camara, following his appointment as Deputy Head of Mission to the Gambian Embassy in Qatar, effective 2nd January 2026.
We thank him for his service and wish him every success in his new diplomatic role.
