One of the most popular singers of our time, Jerreh Jallow (also known as Jizzle), accompanied by his DJ, Sang J Gomez, recently paid a courtesy call on the Honorable Abdoulie Jobe, Minister for Tourism, Arts, and Culture, at his office in Banjul.
The singer visited the Ministry to seek partnership and collaboration with the Ministry and all its affiliated institutions in a manner that will promote the Gambia’s music industry to higher levels.
Speaking during the visit, Jizzle pointed out his willingness to champion the Gambia’s flag to higher heights in his musical tours, especially around the world, thus marketing and promoting the destination Gambia.
He further stated that he has a lot of initiative for this year, and he would like the Ministry to collaborate and support him in his endeavors.
For his part, Honorable Jobe thanked Jizzle for the visit and reassured him of government support through his Ministry in a bid to promote Gambia’s tourism sector, musically.
“You are always welcome to the Ministry, and I can tell you that we will support you in any way we can. You are doing wonderfully well, and I encourage you to continue on that positive path,” said Minister Jobe.
