Earlier today, our Honorable Minister, Abdoulie Jobe, had a fruitful discussion with members of the Template Tree Investors, from the Republic of Turkiye, concerning tourism investment and promotion in The Gambia.
While presenting their ideas, the delegation expressed their desire to build hotels of different types, salons, shopping malls, coffee shops, bars, and restaurants among other facilities.
Speaking earlier, the Honorable Minister of Tourism and Culture thanked them for choosing to come to The Gambia.
He assured them of the Government’s support and affirmed that tourism development is a key priority of the government.
“Tourism’s contribution to the socio-economic development of The Gambia is huge. Therefore, the government does not sit on its laurels when it comes to the advancement of the sector,” Minister Jobe assured his guests.
