The National Roads Authority and the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, in partnership with the Gambia Tourism Board, are pleased to inform all major tourism stakeholders along the BB and Fajara Tourism Clusters, as well as the general public, about the completion and upcoming opening of the new access road at the Fajara waterfront.

This road has been built as an alternative route following the closure of the Kotu/BB Bridge, providing access to all hotels and tourism establishments affected by the bridge’s closure.

The opening of the access road will ease movement and improve access to businesses within the area, thus contributing to the socio-economic development of the tourism stakeholders.

On that note, the National Roads Authority and the Gambia Tourism Board wish to extend our sincere thanks for your understanding and cooperation for any inconvenience caused, and wish you a prosperous Coming Tourist Winter Season.
